Dulce Every one has something to smile about
When I was twelve years old I had a belief, one that I would never forget about. I believe that everyone has something to smile about, This does not apply to everyone, but it does to me . I had some experiences that made me strongly think this is true. They may not seem important, but they are to me
A year . ago I went to the city over the summer. I was so happy because I love going to the city. I went shopping and wasted a lot of my money . That day I was really tired and decied to sit down so I asked my family if we could go eat. While I sat down at the restaurant a mother and her child about seven years old sat at the table next to us. As we ordered our food I heard the little boy crying because he lost his toy. The mother told him to stop crying and even though the little boy stopped crying he was still sad .Then his mom gave him a kiss and a candy and that’s when all of a sudden he had a big smile on his face. That’s when I knew that even though he was sad because he lost his toy he smiled because he knew his mommy said it was going to be OK. He smiled even though he could have kept on crying. This made me think that small problems can cause you to cry but it takes alot of guts to know theres something to smile about.
Anothe time I remeber using this belief was when my doggy passed away. For years I told them can I PLEASE get a doggy and after annoying them so much my dad brought a cute beagle home. Well I loved my dog he was cute and adorable. His name was Bobby, kind of a weird name for a dog but I thought it was better than Fluffy, Spots or Puddles. When he was dead I was too sad to do anything I didn’t really care about a lot of things that were happening around me. I was glad it was Christmas vacations because I didn’t want go to school. I don’t know why his death meant so much to me but whatever the reason was it affected me too much. That’s when my oldest brother Ricardo came and talked to me. He asked me why are you so sad, you can’t be like this and you know that. Just remember that even though Bobby died and you’re too sad to smile you still have your family, friends and other people who care about you. Smile for them because there still here you know you always have something to smile about.
I knew that even though my doggy died or something else would have happened I would still have something to smile about.
When I saw the little boy smile even though he was sad I knew that if he could smile I could smile. This I believe in that everybody has something to smile even if you don’t, you just have to find it.
